Job Summary
Provide organizational and logistical support focusing on administration and coordination of SAS food and clothing pantry programs while ensuring the SAS mission is carried out. Serve as manager for food program cooks and clothing pantry activities. Consult and coordinate with the Advisory Board.
Job Responsibilities
Administrative
· Communicate and disseminate information between teams, volunteers and shelters served by both the food and clothing pantry programs
· Manage program calendars; schedule volunteers, cooks and cafeteria reservations
· Ensure each step of program operations is successfully executed from inventory > scheduling > shopping > volunteer call-out > volunteer selection > storage > deliveries
· Submit weekly bulletin articles including updates for both the food and clothing pantry programs
· Consult and coordinate with the Advisory Board and SAS officers by scheduling regular meetings
Event Management
· Provide onsite leadership at cooks and service events (4:30–8:00 p.m. shifts)
· Oversee volunteers/acts as “point person” at events ensuring proper timing, structure, and role clarity
· Manages Clothing Pantry operations and volunteers
· Take photos at events and send to Saint Ambrose marketing and social media director
· Support and train volunteers in line with SAS mission and Catholic values
· Track supplies in garage and cafeteria supply closet; report needs to shopping team
· Coordinate any facility or equipment repairs with the rectory staff
Job Requirements
Qualifications
· Strong administrative and organizational skills
· Proficiency with email, scheduling and spreadsheets
· Detail-oriented and reliable
· Practicing Catholic preferred, with deep understanding of SAS mission
· Nonprofit or parish administration experience a plus
