Job Summary
Job Title: PRN Receptionist
Location: Mary Queen and Mother Center
Agency: Cardinal Ritter Senior Services
Reports To: Facility Administrator
Pay Range: $13.75–$14.00 per hour
Position Summary:
The Receptionist serves as the welcoming face of Mary, Queen and Mother Center, providing courteous and professional assistance to residents, families, visitors, and vendors. This role ensures smooth front desk operations, monitors resident movement, and supports various administrative tasks to maintain a safe and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist all visitors, residents, and vendors with accurate information and directions.
- Monitor resident movement to prevent elopement and respond to code-alert door alarms.
- Receive deliveries and notify appropriate staff.
- Distribute payroll checks biweekly and accept monthly resident payments.
- Process meal orders and payments for residents’ guests.
- Serve as contact for vending machine issues and sell postage stamps.
- Sort and distribute daily mail.
- Maintain updated emergency contact files.
- Perform typing and filing duties for medical records, including incident reports in MDI.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and messages.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 1 year office experience preferred.
Skills & Attributes:
- Pleasant and professional telephone voice.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage interruptions gracefully.
- Typing speed of 30–40 words per minute.
- Flexible and capable of handling varied responsibilities.
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.

Pre-Employment Screening
