Job Summary
The Product Specialist III – HRIS (SuccessFactors) is a mid-level role responsible for advanced system support, configuration, and continuous improvement of the SuccessFactors HRIS platform. This role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for multiple modules and works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure HR systems are optimized to support business objectives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, HR process understanding, and the ability to lead system-related projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as an SME for SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, and others as assigned
- Lead system configuration, testing, and deployment of new features, enhancements, and integrations
- Provide high-level support for complex system issues, data integrity, and user requests
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and user experience
- Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business needs
- Partner with HR, IT, and Payroll teams on cross-functional initiatives and system upgrades
- Ensure data security, system compliance, and adherence to internal control standards
- Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, system configurations, and training materials
- Mentor junior HRIS team members and support knowledge sharing across the HR department
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in an HRIS or HR technology role, including hands-on SuccessFactors system experience
- Applicable certification(s) in SuccessFactors or a comparable HRIS platform (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and data workflows
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience managing system projects and enhancements from design through implementation
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in system integrations, data mapping, and change management
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI
- Experience in a complex or multi-entity organization
