Job Responsibilities

We have a need for a cross-trained team member to work in the Receptionist, Dining Room Server, and Dishwashing departments. There is also room for growth into Housekeeping and Sacristan departments. The more departments you know, the more hours available to you!

Expected Hours:

5 – 35 per week

Hours will vary based on training and department need. You will be presented with available shifts and can choose your schedule from the available shifts. The ideal candidate will have availability to work multiple departments and various hours as needed.

· Front Office shifts are 4 or 8 hours long, 24/7.

· Dining Room/Dishwasher shifts are 3-10 hours long, split shift, 7 am - 2 pm and 4 pm - 7 pm.

· Housekeeping shifts are 4 hours long, M-F, 7 am - 11 am.

 

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Age Requirement

21 years old

Duties & Responsibilities May Include:

· Answer telephones, Greet residents and visitors

· Assist residents as needed – can include medicine delivery, help with copier, giving eye drops, etc.

· Conduct nightly rounds

· Light housekeeping duties – includes cleaning two bathrooms, vacuuming, setting tables

· Respond to emergencies – includes fire, severe weather, resident health

· Providing dining room drink and tray service for residents

· Washing and sanitizing dishes in the dish room

· Cleaning resident apartments and bathrooms

· Other duties as trained

 

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

· Possess a willingness to be of service to whoever asks for help

· Ability to read and understand weekly leadership communications in American English

· Ability to communicate with front office team regarding shift updates

Relationships Requirements:

· Work well with residents, visitors, and other team members throughout the organization

· Work well unsupervised

· Ability to be gentle and compassionate in dealing with the retired priests, kitchen staff, the administrator, and other staff.
