Job Summary

Cardinal Ritter Senior Services is seeking a Registered Dietitian for our skilled nursing facility, Mary, Queen and Mother Center. This role oversees daily dining services operations, ensuring cleanliness, efficient meal delivery, resident customer service, employee morale, and mentoring of dietary staff.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain registration and licensure certification requirements.
  • Assist in developing and using departmental policies, procedures, equipment, and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain written dietary policies and procedures.
  • Report to the Administrator on Dietary Department operations.
  • Interview residents or family members to obtain diet history.
  • Write and manage waivers of liability.
  • Monitor food service production for timely and standardized meal preparation.
  • Track monthly weights, enter data into Matrix, and assess significant weight changes.
  • Audit diet orders monthly.
  • Prepare annual budget and assist with other departmental budgets.
  • Prepare annual inventory spreadsheets.
  • Interview, hire, and train professional staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Experience & Education:

  • BS in nutrition.
  • RD, LD with 5 years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Pay: $55,445.53 - $70,000.00 per year
