Job Summary

The Office of Catholic Education and Formation of the Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Department of Special Education and Inclusion in serving the communication needs of students enrolled in the Catholic elementary schools located in North St. Louis County.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Identify students with speech/language delays through universal screenings and referrals.
  •  Provide speech/language intervention through response to intervention services, individualized skilled therapy, and/or collaborative intervention (push-in, consultation);
  •  Collaborate with learning consultants, teachers, families, and others to treat students with communication disorders and to refer them to additional service providers, as needed.
  •  Integrate skilled therapy with essential Catholic education fundamentals, especially in faith formation, literacy, and belonging.
  •  Maintain accuracy in documentation and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines; and
  •  Create and maintain a schedule visiting multiple schools to serve students across North County.

Job Requirements

  •  Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, required.
  •  Licensed in the State of Missouri as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  •  Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred, not required; and
  •  Strong communication, analytical, and clinical skills
