Job Summary

The Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF) – following the example of Jesus Christ in His service to those in need – assists faith-based and private elementary schools in providing quality, affordable and accessible educational opportunities for any economically disadvantaged family within the St. Louis region by generating financial assistance in the form of need-based tuition assistance scholarships from local and national funding sources. 

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Director of Advancement leads an experienced TTEF advancement team to raise resources that provide need based scholarships to families in St. Louis and surrounding counties. TTEF scholarships enable children access to private and parochial elementary and high schools. This position oversees the planning and implementation of fundraising activities for TTEF and provides strategic direction and support for two Catholic mission schools, St. Cecilia School & Academy and St. Louis Catholic Academy, in the implementation of their fundraising programs.

Job Requirements

  • Fundraising expertise with proven success in planning and securing individual, corporate and foundation gifts. Experience with special events and grants is a plus.
  • Proficiency managing a portfolio of major donors, leadership donors and high-capacity prospects in order to achieve predetermined financial goals.
  • Demonstrated success leading and inspiring high performing advancement teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the foundation to a variety of stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and partner organizations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to engage with donors, school leaders and key stakeholders to advance the foundation’s strategic priorities.
  • Skilled in developing thoughtful strategies to convey donor impact, stewardship and engagement through regular contact and communication.
  • Effective at working with others to reach common goals and objectives.
  • Mission alignment with an affinity for providing children a pathway to a brighter future through faith based educational opportunity.
