Job Summary:
Bishop DuBourg High School, a dynamic Catholic college preparatory school in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to provide frontline IT support for students, faculty, and staff. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting classroom technology, and assisting with the maintenance of school devices, network systems, and digital tools in a faith-based educational environment.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Support

Provide on-site technical assistance to students, teachers, and staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with computers, mobile devices, printers, classroom technology, and AV equipment.

Assist with device deployment, imaging, inventory tracking, and regular updates.
System & Network Support

Support the maintenance of local networks, Wi-Fi systems, and security protocols.

Assist with user account management (password resets, access control, permissions).

Escalate more complex issues to the Director of Technology or external vendors when needed.
Classroom Technology & Integration

Set up and support classroom technology including projectors, smart boards, and student devices.

Collaborate with faculty to support educational software tools and troubleshoot instructional technology issues.
Administrative Support

Maintain accurate documentation of help desk tickets, repairs, and asset inventory.

Assist with the management and monitoring of the school’s learning management system (e.g., Google Workspace, FACTS, etc.).

Provide basic tech training or guidance to faculty and staff as needed.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field preferred.

1–2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role preferred.

Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Chromebooks, Google Workspace for Education, and general networking concepts.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a school environment.

Must complete all Archdiocese of St. Louis Safe Environment requirements.
