Job Summary
Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and motivated educator to plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with curriculum standards while fostering a structured, faith-centered learning environment. This role includes managing a classroom of 25+ students, assessing and tracking student progress, providing timely feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, collaborates with faculty and administration to support student success, and demonstrates strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills. A passion for learning, commitment to student development, and support of Catholic values are essential, with a practicing Catholic preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Lesson Planning and Instruction:
- Study and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
- Manage a classroom of 25+ students.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
- Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Classroom Management:
- Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate regularly with students, and parents regarding academic progress and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree, a background in education is not required, but desired)
