Young Adult Ministry Coordinator

Job Summary

The Administrative Coordinator will work remotely, provided that all expectations are met.

This position reports to the Office of Evangelization and Discipleship, though regular work assignments will be coordinated through the chaplains of the Salt + Light ministry, Fr. Charlie Archer and Fr. Charlie Samson.

Job Responsibilities

Communications

Update the website calendar

Make and post graphics for key events (Naz Night, Day of Rec, Hikes, Dances, Formation Series)

Manage Young Adult email accounts

Update the website

Handle DM’s on social media platforms (generally a 48 hour response time)

Remind priests and key leaders when they should post something in the GroupMe about upcoming events

Keep an eye on the GroupMe (along with the priests) to assist in moderating


Organization

Manage Google forms (the "Get connected” form, Retreat Registrations, Day of Recollection Registrations)

Book day of Recollection locations (often the Rigali Center)

Shop for Nazareth Night Brentwood, Days of Recollection, and other events as needed

Help plan leadership retreat days, etc, in consultation with the priests.

Keep contact with the key young adult leaders to hear their needs and keep the priests updated


Administrative

Submit receipts according to Archdiocesan standards.

Process check requests through Director of Operations.

Work closely with priests to track needs and growth of the ministry

Draft contracts for grants given to parishes who host key young adult activities (such as Nazareth Nights at ICD, St. Ferdinand, etc.)

Collaborate with other departments of Parish Mission and Vitality to support shared initiatives and ensure effective communication.

Other administrative duties as needed.

Job Requirements

Anticipated level of work: Approximately 20 hours / week
