This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school’s café, ensuring nutritious meal offerings, and fostering a welcoming, community-centered atmosphere that aligns with Catholic values.

Job Responsibilities

• • Foster a café environment that aligns with the mission and values of the Catholic school, promoting kindness, community, and service.

  • Plan and implement special events in the café that may align with school celebrations, such as Catholic feast days or community service initiatives.

  • Incorporate sustainable and ethical food practices where possible, reflecting Catholic teachings on stewardship and care for creation.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with school administrators, faculty, and parents to ensure the café meets the needs of the school community.

  • Participate in regular meetings with school leadership to review café operations and discuss ways to improve the service or offerings.

  • Engage with students and staff to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction with the school café’s offerings.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in food service management, ideally in a school, daycare, or institutional setting.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.

• Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting.

• Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
