Job Summary

The Classroom Aide supports the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled learning environment for students. The aide assists with instructional activities, classroom management, and student supervision while helping to foster the Catholic identity and values of the school.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and activities.

  • Support individual or small group learning under teacher guidance.

  • Help maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.

  • Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess.

  • Reinforce positive behavior and the school’s Catholic values.

  • Prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.

  • Assist with clerical duties as needed (e.g., copying, filing).

  • Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.

  • Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

  • Patience, kindness, and a positive attitude.

  • Willingness to support and uphold the Catholic identity of the school.
