Job Summary
St. Paul Catholic School, a faith-based learning community, is seeking a dependable and compassionate Extended Care Aide to supervise students during before- and/or after-school care hours. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment aligned with our Catholic values and school mission.
Job Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students in the extended care program.

Create and facilitate age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, reading, etc.).

Support a structured, respectful, and faith-filled atmosphere.

Monitor indoor and outdoor play areas to maintain safe environments.

Serve snacks and assist with cleanup.

Communicate with parents and school staff as needed.

Assist students with homework or quiet time, as applicable.

Maintain attendance records and incident reports.

Uphold and model Catholic values and the mission of the school.

Follow all school and diocesan child safety protocols and procedures.
Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Prior experience working with children in a school, camp, or daycare setting (preferred).

Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.

Must complete diocesan Safe Environment / VIRTUS training.

Background check and fingerprint clearance required.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Dependable, responsible, and enthusiastic about working with children.
