Job Summary

Valle Catholic Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year! We are looking for a dynamic educator who can provide instruction while helping us continue to grow our K-8 program with the long-term goal of expanding into the high school level.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Design creative lesson plans and classroom activities that support student growth.

  • Develop and maintain a positive and productive classroom environment with clear expectations

  • Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and behavior documentation

  • Communicate consistently with parents regarding student progress and classroom updates

  • Collaborate with colleagues through committees and professional development opportunities

  • Uphold school policies and report concerns such as suspected abuse, neglect, or harassment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by administration

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or higher

  • Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate  

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
