Job Summary
The Catholic School Teacher is responsible for providing a high-quality, faith-based education that supports the academic, spiritual, and personal development of students. The teacher will integrate Catholic values into all aspects of teaching and learning, fostering a classroom environment rooted in respect, compassion, and academic excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Academic Instruction:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and standards-aligned lessons across assigned subject areas.

Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs and styles of students.

Utilize assessment tools to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

Integrate educational technology and 21st-century skills into the curriculum.
Classroom Management:

Create and maintain a respectful, organized, and safe classroom environment.

Implement effective classroom management strategies grounded in Christian discipline.

Promote student responsibility, self-regulation, and a love for learning.
Collaboration & Communication:

Establish consistent, respectful communication with parents, students, and colleagues.

Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to enhance student learning and school culture.

Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

Valid teaching certification or eligibility within the state or diocese.

Strong instructional, organizational, and classroom management skills.

Experience in a Catholic or private school setting is desirable.
