School Teacher

Job Summary

The Catholic School Teacher is responsible for providing a high-quality, faith-based education that supports the academic, spiritual, and personal development of students. The teacher will integrate Catholic values into all aspects of teaching and learning, fostering a classroom environment rooted in respect, compassion, and academic excellence.

Job Responsibilities

Academic Instruction:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and standards-aligned lessons across assigned subject areas.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs and styles of students.

• Utilize assessment tools to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

• Integrate educational technology and 21st-century skills into the curriculum.

Classroom Management:

• Create and maintain a respectful, organized, and safe classroom environment.

• Implement effective classroom management strategies grounded in Christian discipline.

• Promote student responsibility, self-regulation, and a love for learning.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Establish consistent, respectful communication with parents, students, and colleagues.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to enhance student learning and school culture.

• Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field

• Valid teaching certification or eligibility within the state or diocese.

• Strong instructional, organizational, and classroom management skills.

• Experience in a Catholic or private school setting is desirable.
