Job Summary
Immaculate Conception, a Catholic elementary school within the Archdiocese of St. Louis, is seeking caring and responsible individuals to serve as Lunch Recess Monitors for the 2025–2026 school year. The Playground Monitor plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive social interactions of students during lunch recess.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise students during outdoor and/or indoor recess between 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.
- Promote safe and respectful play while maintaining a positive and structured environment.
- Monitor student behavior, redirect as necessary, and report any concerns to the appropriate school personnel.
- Provide basic first aid when needed and follow emergency procedures if required.
- Help maintain a clean and safe play area by reporting hazards or unsafe conditions.
- Collaborate with fellow monitors and school staff to ensure effective supervision.
