Job Summary

Seeking a dependable and caring Extended Care Aide to assist with supervising students during our before and/or after-school program. The Extended Care Aide supports the mission of Catholic education by ensuring a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment rooted in Gospel values.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during extended care hours (before and/or after school)

  • Assist with activities such as playtime, homework, snacks, and indoor/outdoor games

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment

  • Encourage respectful behavior and uphold school expectations

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

  • Assist with cleaning and organizing materials and spaces as needed

  • Follow all school and diocesan safety, health, and emergency procedures

  • Support the Catholic identity and mission of the school through words and actions

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with children preferred

  • Must be dependable, patient, and enjoy working with school-aged children

  • Ability to supervise and engage children in a calm and caring manner

  • Completion of diocesan Safe Environment Training (or willingness to complete upon hire)

  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
