Job Summary

St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church is looking for a Wedding Coordinator. We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented wedding coordinator to join our team. The Wedding Coordinator will work closely with couples and vendors to ensure every wedding runs smoothly from planning to execution. This role requires excellent communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the planning and execution process

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the wedding day timeline and logistics

  • Work with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget

  • Recommend and liaise with trusted vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainment, etc.)

  • Schedule and attend site visits, tastings, and vendor meetings

  • Create and distribute detailed timelines and layouts for clients and vendors

  • Ensure compliance with venue rules, safety regulations, and event permits

  • Troubleshoot last-minute issues calmly and efficiently on the event day

  • Supervise setup, execution, and breakdown of all wedding-related events

  • Maintain records, contracts, and payments for all bookings

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Wedding Coordinator or Event Planner

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and extended hours as needed
