Job Summary
An event coordinator for a Catholic church is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various religious and community events. These include liturgical celebrations, parish festivals, fundraisers, retreats, sacramental events, and community outreach activities.
Job Responsibilities
🔹 Parish & Community Events

Plan and manage church festivals, picnics, fundraisers, and dinners.

Organize retreats, youth nights, workshops, and volunteer drives.

Coordinate hospitality and welcome teams for events.
🔹 Administrative Tasks

Maintain event calendars and communicate with parish office and ministry leaders.

Book venues, arrange rentals (tables, tents, AV equipment), and manage budgets.

Recruit and train volunteers for setup, cleanup, and event roles.
🔹 Communication

Create flyers, bulletins, and announcements (digital and print).

Manage RSVPs, event registration, and follow-up communication.

Collaborate with parish staff, clergy, and volunteers to ensure alignment with church mission and teachings.
