Job Summary

Seeking faith-aligned and reliable Substitute Teachers to support classroom instruction in the absence of regular faculty. Substitute Teachers are responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and academically productive environment, while upholding the Catholic identity and mission of the school.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and manage the classroom based on lesson plans provided by the regular teacher

  • Maintain classroom routines, procedures, and expectations consistent with school policies

  • Supervise students in the classroom and other assigned areas (e.g., lunchroom, playground)

  • Encourage student participation, respect, and responsibility in alignment with Catholic values

  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and administration as needed

  • Leave a summary or feedback for the regular teacher at the end of the day

  • Uphold and support the Catholic mission of the school in word and conduct

Job Requirements

  • Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting strongly preferred

  • Practicing Catholic preferred, but all applicants must support the mission of Catholic education

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Must complete diocesan Safe Environment Training and background checks

  • Flexibility and availability to accept assignments on short notice
