Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature aligned with diocesan and state standards.

  • Foster a classroom environment that supports the mission and values of Catholic education.

  • Integrate Catholic teachings and virtues into daily instruction and classroom culture.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and styles.

  • Assess and evaluate student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff on cross-curricular projects and school-wide initiatives.

  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school liturgies, and community events.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and behavior.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Previous teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
