Job Summary

St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville, MO is seeking a full-time youth minister to facilitate and direct the continued growth of build upon and expand our middle school program.  The qualified applicant must be a practicing Catholic who is knowledgeable of our faith and has an ability to inspire, engage and relate to young people.  The successful candidate will be a well-organized, enthusiastic self-starter who possesses the ability to be a strong leader and relates well with many age levels.  Good listening and excellent communication skills are essential qualities required of the youth minister in working with the youth of our middle school students, their parents, and our parish leaders.
Qualifications:
·         Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
·         Bachelor's degree in theology, religious studies, pastoral ministry, or a related field (preferred).
·         Previous experience working with youth in a ministry or educational setting.
·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate effectively to middle school students and their families.
