Job Summary

The Catholic School Teacher is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in accordance with Catholic values, academic standards, and the mission of the school. The teacher will create a faith-filled learning environment, support student spiritual and moral development, and promote academic excellence in a Christ-centered community.

Job Responsibilities

Faith & Mission Integration

  • Serve as a role model of Catholic faith and values

  • Integrate Catholic teachings into daily lessons and classroom culture

  • Participate in school Masses, prayer services, and religious celebrations

  • Encourage student participation in faith-based service and community engagement

Instructional Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with curriculum standards

  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners

  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly

  • Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

  • Incorporate technology and innovative practices in instruction

Classroom & Student Management

  • Maintain discipline through positive behavior strategies

  • Set high academic and behavioral expectations

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Job Requirements

  • Collaborate with faculty and administration on school improvement goals

  • Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and faith formation activities

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of attendance, grades, and other required documentation

  • Uphold the school’s policies and Diocesan guidelines
